25th Annual Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition (IGVC)

For 25 years IGVC has challenged university & college student teams to a world class design & systems engineering experience that is at the very cutting edge of engineering education. IGVC is multi-disciplinary, theory-based, hands-on, team implemented, outcome assessed, and based on autonomous vehicle system product realization. Student teams receive professional recognition for achievement and cash awards.

Auto-Nav Challenge

Vehicles autonomously drive & navigate an outdoor course in full while negotiating obstacles, lane following and maneuvering using GPS coordinates to complete the course in the minimum time.

Design Competition: All students teams

A written report is submitted, then an oral presentation and vehicle demonstration is presented to IGVC Design Judge Panel.

Inter Operability IOP Challenge

Vehicles  perform with the IOP open architecture for unmanned systems.
